There is a real heart for mission at St Mark's and over the years we have, collectively, financially supported a number of international agencies.
To avoid spreading the mission budget too thinly the Mission Committee and the PCC agreed to divide our mission budget three ways instead of five.
It was agreed that we continue to support Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) as the church had tangible connections, with the agency, in the Pett family and through Sue and Steve Wood.

Compassion is an international evangelical Christian child sponsorship organisation and in recent weeks Sue and Will Hooper have both been accepted as volunteer advocates. The Mission Committee decided to take Compassion to be our second international agency. We felt again that there were tangible links with the organisation and that collectively we could 'adopt' a project where we would be standing alongside other Christians and through prayer and practical assistance supporting one another.

Mission to Kempshott is about getting out into the community reaching into the heart of Kempshott and listening to its cry. This is also a tangible link and the church already has outreach into the community through a number of agencies.
